Examples of Domestic Colonial Architecture in New England, by James M. Corner and E. E. Solderholtz, was published as a portfolio book by the Boston Camera Club in 1891. It is sometimes considered the first great collection of historical architectural photographs of old New England houses. It went through numerous editions, and here are 40 of the original 50 plates from the 1911 edition. These were scanned by, and offered for sale by, Period Paper. Copies of the book itself are sometimes offered for sale, but they are expensive.
